I am currently working as a senior researcher and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with EdgeRON Technologies, a start-up incubated at IIIT-B innovation Centre. Prior to that, I was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with Prof. Sachit Rao in Robotic Studio - Machine Intelligence and Robotics Centre (A Government of Karnataka Centre of Excellence) at IIIT Bangalore. I have completed my PhD from IIIT Bangalore in the area of Hardware for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning using FPGA for Edge Devices under the supervision of Prof. Subir Kumar Roy and co-supervision of Dr. Nanditha Rao. I have 8+ years of experience (2+ years Post-Doctoral and 6+ years industry (Pre-Doctoral)) besides working at LTRC – IIIT Hyderabad (Prof. Suryakanth Gangashetty). I have 1 filed and 2 (pending) patents with Indian Patent Office along with 3 Journals (1 under review), 3 Book chapters and 10 Conference publications. I am also co-author of a proposed book in field of VLSI and Embedded Systems by Cambridge University Press. I have successfully lead SkyWater 130nm Chip Tape-out (In Fab) and complete front-end design for SCL180nm and TSMC 65nm ASIC.
